WARNING SIGNS:

  • red, swollen, or tender gums
  • bleeding gums
  • gums that recede away from the teeth.
  • loose permanent teeth
  • bad breath

We are pleased to offer our patients a very successful leading-edge, non-invasive program to greatly improve and/or cure your gum disease, with your cooperation. No surgery is required.

Our patients can end up with beautiful, disease-free, pink gums and improved over-all health. Research has shown that periodontal disease contributes to increased risk of heart attacks, strokes and other life-threatening conditions. By addressing periodontal disease (gum disease), patients can reduce the risks of incurring these health problems. An additional benefit of this program is the reduction or absence of dental decay.

The first step is to make an appointment for periodontal records. At this appointment your pocket depths will be measured, and periapical x-rays will be taken of your teeth. If you have had this done recently, please bring copies of your records to your first consultation appointment.

Because Dr. Munger has been an active member of a research group formed in the 1990's in Bethesda, Maryland to help eradicate periodontal disease, he is able to offer this extremely successful program to his patients.
